THE COURSE PHILOSOPHY

Everyone, whatever their level and personality, can acquire the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to progress on the musical path that they like, whether to prepare for a musical diploma or simply for pleasure.

The goal of guitar lessons is to acquire sufficient ease to practice independently, accompany yourself on the songs you like, interpret your favourite pieces, improvise, and even compose.

Testimonials

A dream that becomes a passion thanks to Tristan. Mathilde has never stopped progressing through both serious and fun learning, always in a good mood! Very quickly she was able to proudly play songs alone on the guitar... Great teacher! Have a Tristan in your life!!

Mathilde, 12 years old, and her parents.

As you wish, you will discuss musical theory, the maintenance of your instrument and the practice of the guitar with Tristan. Let yourself be carried away by its method, which is as original as it is effective.

Benjamin, 47 years old.

Tristan was the teacher of our son Thomas for 4 years. Tristan is very pedagogue, super patient, always in a good mood, and takes the necessary time. Thomas was able to play the electric guitar, the classical guitar, and during the last year they often did improvisations together and it sounded really good. He is also quite accommodating about schedules, and gives good advice on the instrument and how to maintain it.

Thomas, 13 years old, and his parents.

Tristan, who teaches harmony, also embodies it. Structuring and caring, he accompanies and introduces people to discovery. There is no age for the guitar, I evolved over the lessons...

Elisabeth.

I had Tristan as a teacher for 2 years. I've been playing guitar for 40 years but as a dilettante, I need a teacher to push me otherwise I don't play. In acoustic and electric, we worked on pieces from my favorite period (80s). How to work on speed, simplify the task by working on the scale, things that you can't do on your own... We each keep a unique walnut guitar from this period, he will tell you about it... In short, you can test it, I know he will meet your expectations!

Jean-Michel, 60 years old.

Tristan is very kind, he is patient. With him you will progress. You choose the songs you want to play, you play at home if you want. You work on melodies and chords.

Jeanne, 9 years old.

Tristan is a teacher whose teaching qualities I was able to appreciate. I was a beginner, after more than 2 and a half years of lessons with him, the common thread of his method is obvious. Progress is constant. Lots of practice, a hint of theory from time to time, just enough to understand what we are doing and gain autonomy. His constant good humor makes his lessons very pleasant.

Pascal, 64 years old.

I initially wanted to learn classical guitar on my own. After weeks of a few timid hours of trying to progress very slowly, a relative surprised me by contacting Tristan to start, this time, lessons with a professional. The harmony was immediate, in relation to my expectations of a professional of course, but also on a human level. It has now been almost 2 years that I have been accompanied by Tristan in my progress. A solid teaching of classical guitar but which can also go into the details of music in general if that interests you. A working method always adjusted according to the students, and the desires of the day, working around pieces freely chosen or proposed as a fun support to tackle the main phases of necessary learning: rhythm, solo, arpeggio, improvisation, scales etc. .. To sum up: a true passionate, exciting and attentive professional. He will help you learn and play quickly regardless of your level or style. I completely recommend Tristan!

Baptiste, 27 years old.

I started guitar lessons with Tristan at the age of 13, today I am 17 and thanks to him and these 4 years of teaching I have mastered more than just technique. Tristan has a deep and caring sensitivity, he always listens to his students! His learning method transmits to us an authentic passion for music and makes us want to learn.

Emy, 17 years old.

I thought that discovering the guitar as I approached fifty was mission impossible, Tristan proved me wrong! By putting himself within my reach and letting me choose the music, he made me evolve at my own pace of course, but always pulling me upwards. Don't be fooled, we work hard, but always in a good mood and conviviality. I only have one regret, it's not having him next to me anymore because beyond his excellent musical and educational level, he is a very beautiful person.

Philippe, 50 years old.

I spent 1 year with Tristan and it was a great year! He is very educational, allows you to learn the pieces you want by adding the theory that goes with it. He finds the right balance between theory and practice. He also gives good advice on maintenance and choice of guitar/amp.

Théo, 15 years old.

I contacted Tristan three years ago to learn to play guitar. I didn't know anything about music. Tristan taught me the basics of guitar. His patience and kindness supported me in this learning.

Gérard, 77 years old.

Tristan was able to offer me pieces that always suited my musical tastes, as a support for learning the guitar in general, thus ensuring lessons that were both fun and effective.

Didier, 57 years old.

I am now 50 years old, and since I was a teenager I wanted to learn the guitar. I dared to take the plunge and contacted Tristan, explaining to him that I was not very young, that I had big plump fingers and that besides, I was left-handed. All this amused him, and he was able to reassure me by telling me that there was no age limit for learning to play the guitar. We had classes once a week and that lasted three years. Through his pedagogy, his patience, and his methodology, I was finally able to get out a few musical notes, and also play a few pieces of music. We see that he perfectly masters his subject, and knows how to interest you in it and will take the time necessary to understand and learn. In addition, he always has words that reassure you and give you confidence, even when you doubt your abilities. I regret every day that he left for other countries, and am envious of the new students who will be able to meet him and learn this truly pleasant instrument. Tristan is truly a teacher, a teacher that I was honored to know, and with whom we could talk about music, guitar, but also other subjects, when he saw that I was annoyed, not being able to not to produce the desired notes... Take advantage of his experience and knowledge, Bordeaux and I regret his departure.

Benoit, 50 years old.

"Having never touched a guitar in my life, I asked the salesman at the music store in my town what was the best way to learn to play this instrument. He told me that lessons with a private teacher was the best way to learn, so he gave me Tristan's number. After a first trial lesson, the contact went very well, and I decided to take lessons once a week withTristan. I started from scratch, I had no knowledge of music theory and one of my biggest fears was having to spend hours learning music theory to play any piece. Which was not the case, the method. Tristan's learning method allows you to start playing quickly and therefore quickly enjoy playing your instrument. The music theory of the conservatories is replaced by music theory which is not laborious. Indeed, Tristan has often repeated in the beginning that there was nothing to learn by heart. I took guitar lessons with Tristan for 2 years. This accompanied me in my learning on a folk guitar but also on an electric guitar allowing me to play various styles. In addition, he also adapts to you according to your desires on the day of the lesson if you want to do something in particular that day. He is really a very good teacher who I can only recommend. "
