About
The teacher
Teaching since 2011, first in Paris, Oxford (UK), Bordeaux, Geneva, and finally in Japan since 2024.
A graduate of the London College of Music in guitar teaching (Associate Diploma, ALCM(TD)), I am a certified
member of the Registry of Guitar Tutors (RGT@LCM). I have also obtained a Level 8 Performance Award with
Distinction in classical guitar, folk guitar and electric guitar.
A singer-songwriter, I have played in a rock band and a folk duo, in the studio and on stage. Having worked
in a music store for several years, I have acquired in-depth technical knowledge of the instrument,
particularly in lutherie.
By adapting to the personality of each student, my goal is to help them progress by transmitting the
pleasure of learning. Being a guitarist is above all being a musician!
MUSIC
In all corners of the world, in every cultures and at all times,
music has accompanied us to tell stories, to dance, to share...
Music allows to express all human emotions.
Whether you are sad, joyful, melancholic, revolted or in love, you always have a song in mind !
THE GUITAR
If music helps us express our emotions, the guitar is one of its the best tools.
It is one of the few instruments that fits into all repertoires:
Classical - Jazz - Blues - Rock - Reggae - Funk - Metal - etc...
One can therefore cross every musical universes with this single instrument.
Nomad and versatile, the guitar is a life companion.
Easily transportable, from its learning to its price, it is the most accessible instrument.
... quivering as soon as she feels in the air preparations for travel, ready in the instant to brave the perils of the road and the dust of the path. Yes, such is my friend the guitar! And many more.
Teaching
If practicing one's passion is a pleasure, sharing it with others gives it meaning.
The important thing for the student is of course to reach : master the guitar !
But teaching an instrument is not just about delivering theoretical and practical knowledge.
The teacher's mission is to help each student achieve their own musical objective,
shaped by their history, personality and artistic sensitivity.
The teacher is there to guide you, but above all, make you enjoy the way to go.
